I prefer to follow Chrome RSS extension because it is a convenient way to add an RSS feed in just a few clicks. Feeder.co is a Google Chrome add-on that will allows you to receive updates instantly whenever a RSS enabled website changes. The notification contains a title and a small description and you can view the full article from the original site by clicking on that link.
Feeder is available for Safari browser and it will also launch on Firefox soon. This extension allows you to click on it to preview the feed content and subscribe. It comes with 2 feed readers predefined (Bloglines and My Yahoo) but also allows you to add any web-based feed reader of your choice to the list. And you can alternatively add the feeds to your subscription list manually or you can import them using an OPML file. It is necessary to add the RSS Chrome Extension if you want to view an RSS feed in Google’s Chrome browser.
