Uploading the web site onto a server, submitting it with different search engines, testing and identifying technical problems are some of the major duties of a web developer.

Qualifications :
Academic Qualification : Any of the below qualifications will be preferred.
Degrees in Computer science, IT, software engineering, web development, programming or other subjects
Certification in PHP web development, graphics and software programming
More specific Diploma, degree or certificate in web development, multimedia design, web design and web content management.
Professional skills :
Experience of object oriented programming.
Front-end development including jQuery.
Understanding of Ajax
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
Experience in software development (not mandatory)
Good levels of communication. Both written and verbal
Enthusiasm and an interest in all things technology
Skills in software graphics manipulation and web programming
Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques
Must be able to stay on top of advancing internet and computer technology and its effects to the business environment
Ability to work individually or in a team to beat tight deadlines
Knowledge of international web standards and protocols
